...stands for When will Mindy Post Again??!!
Raise your hand if you are sick of hearing about how "sucky" RSV is, or was. Thank goodness that's behind us. Luke and Landon are doing so great, and don't seem to have any residual effects from that awful week last month.
Ever since then, though, we seem to have moved into a higher gear around here...Julia started tennis lessons, Cameron starting taking karate twice a week, and the dreaded 7 (seven weeks of community soccer) is about to start...and that's only Cam and Julia's soccer. Rachel has been practicing all winter and going to indoor games with her comp team, and will soon start her 3-day-a-week soccer schedule (a long practice and two games). She also began taking voice lessons...and Cam started piano (the three older kids go at the same time, which makes it nice...although we have to race to Layton the minute the kids get home from school in order to be on time!).
We added one more church-related commitment (in addition to Young Women and Activity Days), as Cameron turned eight and will now go to scouts every week. He's excited about that! School is getting pretty busy for everyone as the year is coming to a close. We are trying to make some important decisions about Emily because she starts Kindergarten in the fall (decisions like what school/schedule/teachers will be the best fit for her).
So, yeah, life's a little crazy. :) I know we seem overscheduled (we are) but this is probably the last season that J & C will play soccer...hooray!! (if you commit to play in the fall, you have to play in the spring so as to not mess up the team numbers). If we can just get through the next 2 months, we'll breathe a little easier for awhile!
Amidst all the chaos, I really haven't forgotten about my blog...I actually have a few things in the works, but they are taking a long time to compose (when you are a rambler there's no changing it...just embrace it, right?). Anyway, please stay tuned.
While you're waiting, feel free to enjoy this little glimpse into my daydreams. I have never longed for summer so much in my life! I love you, snow, but we need to break up for a few months.
