I was glancing through some recent photos of the fam and noticed that there were several fun and interesting pictures of Emily. But before we get to that, Emily just wants to tell you how much she missed her Daddy/best friend/favorite person in the world. I try not to take it personally, but Emily is 100% head-over-heels for her Daddy. She shamelessly favors him. It was hard on her to have him gone. I put a big picture of Steve as our desktop photo, and I noticed a few days after he had left for Africa that she had crawled up onto the big computer chair, had wrapped her arms around the monitor, and was kissing the picture on the screen, whispering "Hi Daddy...Hi Daddy." SO cute. In honor of their little love affair:

We think she developed an allergy to Amoxicillin. No fun.
Life with Emily is a joyful adventure, and we are loving the opportunity to tag along...
p.s. this post was a labor of love and took WAY too long to compose. In regards to my last post, I'd still love any hints or suggestions as to how to make uploading more consistent (I had to try to upload many of these photos SEVERAL times before they finally went through...).

Thank you for posting such fun pictures. Emily is darling and so are all your other children. They all have a very special spirit about them and are also "Gifts".
I saw pics of my Brothers from Africa, a few your husband was in. Looks like they had an amazing adventure!!!

What darling pictures of Emily! I'm so happy for your little family that you have your Steve back. I'm sorry about the picture thing. I wish I could help but I haven't had those problems with mine and I'm not real computer smart so I don't know what to tell you :(.

Okay, that picture of Emily finding the candy in tthe eggs is truely priceless. I love those moments that you actually catch!. We should get our families together someday, I would love to meet you guys, and introduce Emily to Eva.
